Mass Shooting at Restaurant in Union Township Leaves Three Dead, Several Injured

Authorities in Union Township are investigating a deadly mass shooting that unfolded Saturday night at a busy restaurant, leaving three people dead and multiple others injured.

According to preliminary reports, the violence erupted around 8:40 p.m. at a Chick-fil-A location along Route 22. Witnesses described a chaotic scene as a barrage of gunfire broke out inside or near the crowded establishment, sending dozens of patrons scrambling for safety.

Responding officers quickly arrived and secured the scene, where they located multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Authorities confirmed that at least six people were shot during the incident. Three victims were pronounced dead, while others were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. The conditions of the surviving victims have not yet been publicly disclosed.

The Union County Prosecutor’s Office is leading the investigation, which remains active and ongoing. Officials have not yet released information regarding a suspect, a possible motive, or whether any arrests have been made.
